Product description

4-speed gearbox for the classic Vespa 150 GS. A re-production of the original gearbox parts as a high-quality gearbox kit.

Anyone looking for a gearbox for the Vespa 150 GS will quickly discover that it is very difficult to find, even second-hand. And even if you have tracked down the rare part, the drive shafts are often twisted, the gears worn and even original engines sometimes had tooth failure. Stefano Benelli has a heart for the 150 GS and now offers you these parts from stock, finely finished and in new condition.

Made in Italy
High quality material
Replacement for the rare original gearbox
Cruciform, shift rod and input shaft included

A gearbox from BENELLI and SIP Scootershop

The Vespa 150 GS is the scooter that was built as the successor of the famous Vespa "Sport" and "Sei Giorni" models from 1955 to 1961. In cooperation with SIP Scootershop, BENELLI has reproduced the original gearbox parts and constructed a perfect gearbox kit from them. Shift cross, shift rod, auxiliary shaft and the four gears for first to fourth gear are included. The kits are produced from high-quality material and with first-class heat treatment as a small series in Italy and can therefore proudly bear the "Made in Italy" label.

Stefano Benelli is a veteran of the Italian Vespa racing scene and was one of the first to devise modified gear ratios for smallframe Vespas back in the early 80s. "Best Racing Vespa" is not just a slogan for BENELLI, but a programme. The gradation and number of teeth are exactly the same as on the originals VS1 to VS5.

Conclusion: For lovers of the Vespa 150 GS, a dream has come true with this gear kit from BENELLI.

Further possibilities in combination with the gearbox kit - SIP-TIP:

In combination with the SIP drive shaft and SIP gear selector rod, a completely new drive shaft can be built for the 150 GS.
Also the input shaft of the 150 GS can now be completely renewed when using the SIP bearing input shaft and axle input shaft. All primary gear ratios for Wideframe can be used, i.e. 67, 65, 64 and 62 teeth from the various manufacturers.
