SLUK’s Fireball or XL5 washer, modeled after the classic Biemme washers of the 1960s—redesigned for easier installation, improved stability, and a classic look.
SLUK has taken the familiar shape of the historic Biemme washers and technically reworked them using new tools. Instead of visible clamps, the washer is attached directly to the edge of the headlight using a stainless steel Hi-Torque band fastener.

The original Biemme washers were made of 2 mm-thick plastic. The SLUK version is made of 4 mm-thick, acrylic-coated ABS and is available in various finishes, including high-gloss, black, white, silver, and carbon-fiber look.
Fireball washers are designed for Vespa models; the XL5 version is for Lambretta models.
More wind protection
The washer deflects some of the oncoming wind away from the chest area, thereby improving riding comfort at higher speeds.
Additionally, the area behind the Washer provides space for instruments or a GPS device without significantly altering the scooter’s classic look.
Easy Installation
Installation is done using a Hi-Torque stainless steel clamp that is secured over the edge of the headlight. This allows the Washer to be installed quickly and removed just as quickly if necessary—for example, to access wires or bulbs in the Steering Head.
To protect the surface, SLUK recommends wrapping Fibrin Tape around the headlight rim before installation.
Adjustment as Needed
Depending on the vehicle’s condition, steering angle, and Legshield, the Washer may come into contact with the Legshield at full steering lock.
In this case, the ABS material can be trimmed as needed using a Dremel or a file. Painting the lens to match the vehicle’s color is also possible.
