XL2/"COSA" Clutch for Vespa Smallframe. Smooth-running, cleanly separating and available in three expansion stages.

The clutch based on the PIAGGIO XL2/"Cosa" concept transmits power particularly precisely via six circularly arranged Springs. As a result, actuation remains pleasantly light - even with reinforced Springs - and disengagement is very clean, which makes it much easier to switch gears when stationary.

Compared to classic smallframe clutches, the XL2 design works with six Springs, which distribute the load more evenly. This ensures defined, effective power transmission and very clean disconnection behavior - a plus when Switching, especially when stationary.

The standard version with three cork pads is designed for original Engines. Sport relies on 4 cork pads and 6 reinforced Springs and is a suitable choice for slightly tuned setups, for example after Cylinder or Exhaust updates. Race with 4 carbon pads is more heat-resistant and scores points with good grinding behavior - ideal for more heavily tuned SMALLFRAME engines.

For installation on VESPA 50-125/PV/ET3/PK50-125/S/XL, the XL2 Pressure Plate is also required; depending on the model, it may also be necessary to modify the Clutch Cover or insert a suitable SIP Clutch Cover.
