Version with one-piece exhaust

The version with one-piece exhaust has a performance potential of up to 35 hp and 35 Nm. It scores points above all with its early onset of power and smooth power delivery. The Engine reacts less strongly to weather or altitude, and the jetting is also easier to optimize. Even if the jetting is too rich, the Engine hardly shows any pre-resolving lag. However, in comparison to the version with three split exhausts, you have to do without 3-4 hp and 500 rpm rev band. Up to 7500, the Cylinder with oval exhaust has the edge over the version with multi-piece exhausts.

Version with three-piece exhaust

The version with a three-piece outlet enables outputs of up to 40 hp and 35 Nm. It enables more power and speed range, but less torque at lower engine speeds than the version with one-piece exhaust. The power comes on more brutally and with a slight delay. Carburetor jetting is more complex with 3-piece outlets  and if the jetting is not correct, pre-resolving holes can occur more frequently. The Egig Cylinder counters a pre-resol hole very well with the layout, Reed Valve Block and timing.

• Don't forget to order the right Intake Manifold.
• The EGIG or Quattrini Crankcase offers the best basis.
• The EGIG Cylinder also requires a special Crankshaft.
