Perfectly crafted brake components, developed in racing "made in Italy".
In the 80s, Enrico DISCACCIATI was a technician in the motorbike world championship. Kenny Roberts and the Gallina team trusted in his skills. Based on this experience on the race track, Discacciati has been providing braking systems for riders and teams of GP, SBK, SuperSport, etc. for over 25 years.
Discacciati products meet the highest quality standards in material selection and production processes. Everything is made in Italy. Therefore we are happy and proud to be able to offer some products in our range. A touch of racing on a scooter.
Compared to conventional axial pumps, radial Brake Master Cylinders primarily offer advantages in terms of power transmission and modulation, especially in sporty applications. The force acts linearly to the piston movement, which improves the brake feel.
- Better modulation and braking feel: As the force of the fingers acts directly and linearly on the brake piston (instead of being deflected by 90 degrees), the feedback is finer and the pressure point is clearer.
- More efficient power transmission: Direct power transmission ensures less friction loss, which means that the braking force is transmitted more precisely to the Brake Caliper.
With an axial pump, the Piston is parallel to the Handlebar and the Lever presses on the Piston via a deflection. In a radial pump, the Piston and Lever are perpendicular (or at a shallower angle) to the Handlebar, which enables direct force transmission.
