Product description

Disc brake kit for the original forks on classic Vespa models. With CNC-machined Suspension Arm and radially bolted Brake Caliper from DEXTER.

The company DEXTER from South Tyrol has taken care of the front brake and Suspension Arm of the Smallframe Oldie Models. In this kit, the complete front Suspension Arm is replaced together with the brake.

Radial bolted Brake Caliper
Plug and play for original Fork

The Suspension Arm is made from a high-strength aluminum alloy and is milled from solid material. The Shock Absorber is bolted to the same Axle as the Wheel Hub. This is intended to reduce the tendency of the Fork to dip under braking. The system is known in a similar form from "anti-dive" kits. No modification to the Fork or Mudguard is necessary for installation. This means that the conversion can also be easily retrofitted. Thanks to the original-look Wheel Hub, the appearance of the scooter does not change on the replacement wheel side. The brake is compatible with 10 inch rims.

Radial bolted Brake Caliper

A radial fitting for the Brake Caliper is integrated into the Suspension Arm. The Brake Caliper itself comes from RPM. It has four brake pistons, each with a diameter of 25.4 mm. Hole spacing of the fitting: 82mm.

Variants

The DEXTER Disc Brake is available in two different versions. One is designed for Seating the closed 4-hole Rim, the other variant for Seating the open Rim with 5-hole Fitting. In addition, the color of the Brake Caliper can be selected when ordering.

Conclusion: the ideal update if you want the brake to decelerate well even at higher speeds.
