SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter: a multifunction unit with an analog gauge, digital Display, eight backlight colors, and many additional features.
The SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter replaces the standard speedometer—which comes with very few features—with a true multifunction unit. The speedometer features a large analog gauge that displays speeds up to 160 km/h and RPMs up to 16,000. The speedometer needle can be set to display either RPM or speed.
The lower digital Display can show 18 different functions, which can be switched at the push of a button. In addition to standard functions such as analog and digital speed displays, trip and total mileage, and temperature, the speedometer features an analog and digital Rev Counter, digital fuel and Temperature Gauge, an Acceleration Meter for distance and speed measurement, average speed, and many other features.
The backlight can be set to one of eight different colors. The brightness can also be adjusted separately. Before each restart, the instrument performs a complete self-test.
Speed is detected, just like the original, via the Speed Sensor integrated into the Wiring Loom or can be transmitted via a digital Speed Sensor. The appropriate Sensors are available as Replacement Parts.
A Wire Kit for the vehicle connection is included. It is connected between the Speedometer and the Wiring Loom. No soldering required—simple and straightforward. Settings and switching between functions are controlled using the vehicle’s original “Mode” button.

- Temperature Gauge up to 250 °C or 32–482 °F for the Cylinder Head

- Data storage for top speed, maximum RPM, and temperature
- Distance and acceleration measurement: In distance measurement mode, the time taken to cover a freely selectable distance from 0 to 1,000 m is measured. In speed measurement mode, the time between a freely selectable starting and ending speed is measured.
ATTENTION: Work on the Speedometer, such as replacing the Speedometer glass or performing repairs, may only be carried out by SIP SCOOTERSHOP GmbH or a qualified repair shop. Unauthorized modifications, such as opening the Speedometer, will void the warranty.
