Reinforced HTS Shock Absorber from CARBONE with expanded adjustment options for numerous Vespa Smallframe Models.

With the HTS (Hitech Sport) series, Italian suspension specialist CARBONE is introducing yet another performance option for the front suspension of classic Vespa models. It bridges the gap between basic replacement shock absorbers and expensive high-end shock absorbers designed for racing.

• Reinforced design for higher loads
• Progressive spring with a diameter of 55 mm for greater stability and comfort
• 5-way adjustable spring preload

The main feature of this shock absorber series is its reinforcement in several areas. Thanks to the more robust Shock Absorber housing, the diameter of the hardened piston rod could be increased to Ø 11 mm. This allows the Shock Absorber to better absorb forces and provides a solid foundation for sporty rides.

The outer diameter of the progressive spring has also been increased to Ø 55 mm. This improves buckling resistance while simultaneously enabling a softer, more comfortable spring response.

A newly designed slotted nut also allows for 5-step adjustment of the spring preload. This makes it easier to adapt the Shock Absorber to the driver’s weight, payload, and personal driving style.

Conclusion: A sportier, reinforced Shock Absorber with practical adjustment options and an excellent price-to-performance ratio.
