2-piston Brake Calliper from BREMBO with Adaptor for Smallframe Modern Vespa Models to improve the front brake system.

The original 2-piston Brake Calliper fitted to Smallframe Modern Vespa Models often appears sluggish and offers only limited reserves, especially in heavy city traffic. The BREMBO 2-piston Brake Calliper with matching Adaptor is a suitable upgrade. The Brake Calliper is fitted at the front instead of the standard Brake Calliper with the Adaptor. Two M8 x 30 mm Screws, two M8 x 25 mm Screws and four M8 self-locking Nuts are required for installation.

Note: The Brake Calliper can only be used in conjunction with the ZELIONI oversize Brake Disc.

SIP TIP:

A suitable Braided Steel Hose (Stahlflex) additionally improves braking performance and is a useful addition to the new brake system. Don't forget Screws, Nuts and a suitable Brake Disc.

General mounting information: We strongly recommend that 'Loctite ? Medium strength' thread lock liquid be applied to the threads on the bolts between the brake callipers, adapter, engine-casings and axle mounting. They should then be correctly tightened to the relevant torque values required using a decent torque wrench. Original or replacement nuts and bolts should have a 10.9 solidity rating.
