Product description

4-piston Brake Calliper from BREMBO with matching Adaptor for large Modern Vespa Models. Significantly more braking power for sporty riding, city traffic and long descents.

The 2-piston Brake Calliper fitted as standard on the large Modern Vespa Models is considered to be rather sluggish and leaves room for improvement in terms of braking performance. This becomes noticeable on Alpine passes, in dense city traffic or at higher speeds on the highway. To counteract this shortcoming, we have a 4-piston brake calliper from BREMBO including a suitable adaptor in our range. The Brake Calliper is simply fitted at the front with the Adaptor in place of the original brake calliper. Only two M10 x 20 mm Screws are required to attach the Brake Calliper to the Adaptor.

SIP TIP:

A matching Braided Steel Hose (Stahlflex) further improves braking performance and is the ideal complement to the new brake system. Brake Caliper paint can be used to match the color of the Brake Caliper to the vehicle. We also recommend fitting the Breather Nipple in the upper thread when the Brake Calliper is fitted. This leaves more space for fitting the Brake Hose and Banjo Bolt.

Delivery includes adapter for ZELIONI brake system.

General mounting information: We strongly recommend that 'Loctite ? Medium strength' thread lock liquid be applied to the threads on the bolts between the brake callipers, adapter, engine-casings and axle mounting. They should then be correctly tightened to the relevant torque values required using a decent torque wrench. Original or replacement nuts and bolts should have a 10.9 solidity rating.
