The external Ignition Coils for breaker ignitions are available up to the Vespa 150 VL/VB/GS models. Ignition Coils for E-ignitions are referred to as Electronic Units. The electronic control unit for the PX is also required when converting from Contact Breaker to E-ignition. Misfires that indicate a defective electronic control unit are often caused by broken contacts or splash water.
