Air-cooled PIAGGIO cylinders do not have cylinder head gaskets included as standard as the contact surfaces have been ground completely flat to match. Often reproduction cylinders and heads or also older used original components leak along this join. In this case we recommend the use of a suitable cylinder head gasket to keep everything adequately sealed.

SIP-TIP: Do not forget to also order a suitable cylinder base gasket or better still a complete engine gasket kit!
