HERCULES/SACHS Splinter 50 ccm 2T AC -
HERCULES geht auf die Nürnberger HERCULES-WERKE zurück (gegründet 1886) und wurde zunächst vor allem als Fahrrad- und später auch als Moped/Motorradmarke bekannt. 1958 übernahm FICHTEL & SACHS die Nürnberger HERCULES-Aktivitäten; aus diesem Umfeld entstand 1995 SACHS BIKES (u. a. nach Verkauf der Marke HERCULES und der Fahrradsparte). Die Marke SACHS ist heute im Kfz-Bereich als Marke von ZF AFTERMARKET präsent (z. B. Stoßdämpfer und Kupplungen).
