Overview

The bicycle manufacturer GIANT has been producing its own e-bike engines for several years. These are based on drives from YAMAHA, which are modified using proprietary software and installed exclusively in GIANT e-bikes and pedelecs under the name "SyncDrive". The SyncDrive Core was the first mid-motor from this series.

The SyncDrive Core mid-motor was followed by three other models that are installed in GIANT e-bikes and pedelecs: Pro, Life and Sport. The drives are designed for different riding styles and are just as suitable for use in the city as they are for riding an e-mountain bike through the mountains.
