In the new century, Taiwan's motorbike engineering and design school is becoming increasingly active and progressive. Trade magazines are increasingly mentioning innovations from Taiwanese companies, emphasising quality and creative approaches in the development of new motorbike concepts. ADLY, although not as traditional as Bombardier or Benelli, already has a solid reputation with its scooters and ATVs.
ADLY originated as a subsidiary of Her Chee Industrial Co. with the brand registration taking place in 1978. In the early years, ADLY focussed on the production and development of agricultural machinery, off-road vehicles and light motorbikes. With growing capacities and accumulated experience, the company later expanded its range to include scooters, off-road vehicles and e-bikes, without limiting its product range. A striking difference to Chinese production is the focus on quality and comprehensive control at every stage of production.
in 1990, the 50 and 100 cc plastic scooters arrived in Europe, making them the first Taiwanese scooters to do so. ADLY Moto is currently better known for the production of ATVs/quads.
Over the years, ADLY has launched a large number of scooters: Silverfox 50, Silver Fox 100, Panther 100, Jet 100, Thunder Bike 125, Supersonic 125, Cat 50, Fox 50, Fun Cruiser, Panther-50, Cat 125 to name but a few.
