This year’s motto? Veni Vidi Vespa: We came. We saw. We RIDE.

Five hundred years ago, a Florentine merchant named Amerigo Vespucci took a look at the maps that everyone else had drawn incorrectly and said: “That’s not Asia! That’s something completely new!” He was right. Two continents were eventually named after him. You’re living on one of them right now.

Five hundred years later, we’re riding Italian scooters across it.

In 2026 – when the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary – the Vespa Club of DC is bringing Italian heritage home. Two days. Fantastic rides. Great food. Even better company. Throughout the weekend, we’ll be immersing ourselves in the Italian-American history that has helped make this country what it is today!

All scooters are welcome. You don’t have to ride a Vespa to love what Italy has given the world.
