SIP Scootershop annual review 2025
like every year, 2025 was characterised by countless Vespa and Lambretta events. Clubs, crews and enthusiasts around the world have organised meetings, planned trips, shared knowledge and experienced exactly what our scene is all about: community, passion and the joy of riding. We are delighted about these international activities.
And that's why this review is not complete. It can only tell a fraction of what happened in the scooter scene around the world in 2025 - we are absolutely aware of that. It shows our highlights, our experiences and a few selected stops that we particularly remember.
Tours & Events 2025 - our highlights
Epic Vespa Ride in Thailand: from Bangkok to Koh Chang
A dream came true early in the year: a road trip in the warmth of Asia - as a contrast to the European winter. The SIP Vespa Road Trip Thailand 2025 led from Bangkok to Koh Chang and brought together team, friends and international companions - a true "Epic Ride" chapter.
Start of the season in Europe: Elba, Augsburg, Munich, Blaubeuren
May got off to a Mediterranean start: the Scooter Rally Toscano on Isola d'Elba from 1-4 May 2025 was all about sun, sea, the scent of two-strokes and that special attitude to life between Vespa, Lambretta and soul nighters.
Shortly afterwards, the Classic Scooter Corso Augsburg 2025 showed that real Tin Scooter hearts beat even in changeable weather.
And in Munich, the traditional Vespa Corso with over 500 riders rolled through the city - the season kicked off with a bang. Ralf from the SIP team took part in the Vespagioia roll-off in Blaubeuren.
Novi Sad: European Vespisti Week
Things got international in June: a SIP team travelled to Novi Sad (Serbia) for the European Vespisti Week 2025 (12-15 June). On board: stand, selected parts, two scooters and, above all, plenty of encounters with the local scene.
The big home game day: SIP Open Day 2025
On 31 May 2025, our headquarters in Landsberg became a meeting place for the scene: more than 3,500 fans, at least 1,000 of them on their own scooter - Open Day vibes that reach far beyond Bavaria. Plus a new format: the Vespa & Lambretta Custom Show, which put selected conversions in the spotlight.
And the look ahead is already clear: SIP Open Day 2026 is on 16 May 2026 (save the date!).
Joyride is back: SIP Joyride 2025
After a two-year break, it was back: the SIP Joyride. In July, Vespa fans from many regions (and even Taiwan) came to Landsberg - a day that epitomises exactly why we love this community.
Switzerland road trip: Snail Days in Leuk
Late summer, Alpine scenery, scene spirit: the SIP Vespa road trip in Switzerland included a trip to the Snail Days in Leuk (Valais) - with the SIP team, the founders and guests from Manila and Bangkok.
Roller pilgrimage: thanks and blessings
The end of the season was a special occasion: numerous scooter riders came together on 13 September 2025 for the SIP scooter pilgrimage, starting in the Siperia - and had their scooters and riders blessed.
New products 2025 - technology that moves
SIP Performance: new radial Brake Calliper
A real upgrade topic: There is a detailed video on the new SIP Performance radial Brake Calliper with technical details, possible applications and installation instructions.
SIP PERFORMANCE 199 cc for Vespa T5
A milestone: the first Racing Cylinder developed entirely by SIP for the legendary Vespa T5. The aim: performance and suitability for everyday use - expressly designed as a plug & play package.
Brake witch: when Drum Brakes grip "properly" again
Many people know the problem: new brake pads, but the braking performance falls short of expectations. The Brake Witch starts exactly where things often get stuck - with the fit between the lining and drum - and aims to achieve a noticeably better, more even braking effect.
Ignition SIP PERFORMANCE by VAPE
Ignitions also saw a lot of movement in 2025: In cooperation with VAPE, new variations of the SIP PERFORMANCE Ignitions were created: Classic, Touring and Race.
Outlook for 2026 - make a note of dates, make travel plans
2026 will be the same - probably even more intense:
SIP Open Day 2026: Saturday, 16 May 2026 (from 10 Clock).
Vespa World Days 2026 in Rome25-28 June 2026 - as a major anniversary event celebrating 80 years of Vespa, with festivities at the Foro Italico and elsewhere.
And of course: many, many other events around the world await - from small club meetings to major international weeks. The Calendar is getting full again, the roads are getting fuller again, and the best thing about it: you'll always meet up somewhere - at the latest on the next ride.
