Classic Roller Corso: FC Augsburg goes Vespa
Attention all scooter fans: On Sunday, 4 May 2025, Augsburg will once again be the stage for Plates and petrol - the Classic Scooter Corso is entering its second round! Under the motto "Plate and gears for the home game against Kiel", FC Augsburg and the scooter scene are calling for a big corso through the city centre. What began in 2024 with over 300 Vespas and classic scooters at the home game against Werder Bremen is now being continued - and this time, all Switch and Tin Scooters are expressly welcome, not just Vespa riders.
FCA Managing Director Michael Ströll explains: "The Corso was a complete success last year - so it quickly became clear to us that there should be another edition in 2025. We look forward to welcoming many scooter riders who will join us in setting an example of living scooter culture." FCA President Markus Krapf is also taking part again: "It was a great feeling to be part of this unique parade. Augsburg felt a bit like Italy - and that's exactly what we want to experience again. Maybe we'll beat the number of participants from last time!"
We think so: That's exactly our thing! Classic scooters, a lively community, a vibrant city - of course we'll be there. So if you're in the area on 4 May, fill up your Tank, polish your Paint and get on your scooter - see you at the Corso!
