“Beginner” Drive Tuning Kit

This kit includes a reinforced Belt from MALOSSI. Its wider design reduces slippage in the drivetrain, which has a positive effect on acceleration. Lighter MALOSSI HT Variator Rollers allow the engine to rev up more easily, resulting in a higher engagement RPM. Thanks to their PTFE coating, they are also particularly wear-resistant.

The package is rounded out by a MALOSSI Air Filter Sponge. The higher airflow—while maintaining the same filtration performance—slightly leans out the fuel mixture and ensures more responsive throttle response. New nuts for the Variomatic and Clutch are also included.

“Sport” Drive Tuning Kit

If the first tuning step isn’t enough for you, go for the “Sport” Drivetrain Kit. The package includes a complete MALOSSI Multivar Variomatic system—including rollers—a wider MALOSSI Belt, and a Sport Air Filter Sponge. As with the “Beginner” kit, new nuts for the Variomatic and Clutch are also included here.

Conclusion: If you don’t want to spend a lot of time putting together the individual components for drivetrain optimization, our Tuning Kits are the way to go. The “Beginner” kit is affordable and noticeably improves acceleration. It’s also suitable as a Service Kit when a service interval is due. With optimal tuning, the “Sport” kit offers significantly more potential: Replacing the CVT components delivers strong acceleration figures and noticeably more riding enjoyment.

Note: The MALOSSI Spring Plate is not included with the Tuning Kit for the Vespa ET4 125/150 cc with the older Engine (ZAPM04).
