Product description

Open 8" conversion rim for converting from 8" to 10" Tyres.

A Vespa can be converted from 8" to 10" with a conversion rim. This provides more riding stability and opens up a much wider choice of 10" tires. The rim can simply be replaced one-to-one with the existing rim. Note on the chrome version: It only has one hole for the valve in the wide Rim Half, there is no hole on the other side. This must be retrofitted or a different Inner Tube can be used.

Don't forget a new 10" Tyre, Inner Tube and Centre Stand !

10" closed rim for Vespa GS 150/VD1T/VD2T – also suitable for converting from 8" to 10"

This steel rim is mounted using four screws, just like the standard closed 10" rim on the Vespa 150 VGL1. The difference lies in the star-shaped pattern on the left outer side of the rim and the slightly different Rim Well.

The rim is also popular for converting closed 8"-models to 10". The bolt pattern fits, though this results in a minimal track offset.

Be sure to order new 10-inch tyres and an Inner Tube at the same time. The conversion changes the gear ratio, so the Gearbox ratio must be adjusted.
