CNC Suspension Arm Cover from SIP STYLE for Vespa Largeframe and Vespa PK Models—a high-quality aluminum cover that subtly enhances the Fork’s appearance.
The front suspension arm cover on the Fork is the finishing touch that completes the look of a Vespa. Unfortunately, on some models, these covers are rather poorly designed. On many scooters, you’ll also see Suspension Arm Covers that have clearly shown their age over the years. Especially if the cover has been removed and reinstalled frequently, it’s often cracked or bent.
The CNC Suspension Arm Cover from SIP STYLE is a real upgrade for the front fork of Vespa Largeframe and Vespa PK models. It is made of aluminum, is of very high quality, and is extremely sturdy. It isn’t simply clamped over the Suspension Arm or held in place with bent metal tabs, but is easily and securely attached to the Suspension Arm using Grub Screws.
The covers are available in silver and black. For the Vespa PK and PX models, two versions are available: one with the “Classic” badge and one that gives the more modern fork the look of vintage forks. Ideal for fork conversions when a more modern suspension is to be installed in older Vespa large-frame scooters. This makes a Sprint or a VBB with a PX fork, for example, look much more cohesive than with a plastic cover from the 1980s.
The version for the Suspension Arms of Vespa models with separate Springs and Shock Absorbers is more elegant, sturdier, and easier to install than the original Cover.
Conclusion: The CNC-machined Suspension Arm Cover from SIP STYLE is a subtle, high-quality upgrade for the Vespa Fork.
These products fit perfectly – SIP TIPS:
- For safety’s sake, secure the Grub Screws with Thread Locker.
Psst! Don’t tell anyone! During Heinrich Schliemann’s excavations at Troy, an entire production batch of SIP CNC-milled Suspension Arm Covers was discovered. However, we were able to talk the German Archaeological Institute out of locking the entire collection away in museum archives. So here’s your chance to purchase your very own super-rare vintage Suspension Arm Cover in its original historical condition.
Malicious tongues claim, however, that these might be fakes, restored by patina guru Tore Sambataro to make them look as if they’re very old.
What is certain, however, is that these Suspension Arm Covers blend beautifully with the look of all original-paint Vespas, patinated Vespas, and even those with heavy signs of wear. Each part is handcrafted and finished “Made in Germany”—oops, now we’ve let the cat out of the bag.
