From the PK Flywheel to your own SIP solution

The PK Flywheel for PK XL/PX is equipped with two grooves. Compared to the PX Flywheel, the diameter and fan size are smaller. As PIAGGIO has discontinued production of this Flywheel, only remaining stocks were available recently. V50, PV and ET3 Models can be converted to a 12-volt ignition with the PK Flywheel and matching Crankshaft, Stator Plate, Voltage Regulator and Ignition Coil.

To ensure that touring riders can continue to be supplied with a sensible solution even after the PK Flywheel has been discontinued, SIP has developed a new Flywheel together with a fan wheel manufacturer. This is not a machined or otherwise modified standard fan wheel. Instead, a new mold was specially produced. This allows the advantages of the PK Flywheel to be combined with the large cooling surface of the PX Flywheel.

Lighter than original and with a high cooling reserve

The SIP touring Flywheel is available in 1700 g and 1900 g and is therefore up to 840 g lighter than the original Flywheels. The blade area and diameter correspond to the PX150 Flywheel. This ensures maximum fan surface area and therefore very good cooling. Each Flywheel is balanced by the manufacturer. It fits all PX and also PX Elestart Models, but not Smallframe Engines.

Conclusion: The touring fan wheel from SIP PERFORMANCE is a light and effective improvement for pulling power, acceleration and touring suitability.

SIP TIP:

• In combination with the DRT Float Chamber Cover, SIP ROAD Exhaust and touring cylinder, a stable touring engine becomes an extremely suitable setup for touring.
