SIP PERFORMANCE Shock Absorbers for Vespa – adjustable CNC-machined aluminum Shock Absorbers with progressive springs and a sporty yet comfortable setup.
Years ago, the SIP PERFORMANCE Shock Absorber series catapulted the Vespa Shock Absorber market into the new millennium and filled an important gap: adjustable CNC-machined aluminum Shock Absorbers featuring state-of-the-art technology at a fair price.
- High-strength aluminum for low weight
- CNC-machined, anodized shock body
- Infinitely adjustable spring preload
- 20-way adjustable rebound damping and progressive Springs
Features such as infinitely adjustable spring preload, true progressive spring, adjustable rebound and compression damping, and an external Fluid Reservoir are among the well-thought-out characteristics of SIP PERFORMANCE Shock Absorbers. Technical details such as a 14-mm piston rod, hardened materials, and an additional guide plate at the front for the upper rubber mount provide noticeably greater stability in the suspension.
High-quality materials, precise CNC manufacturing, and a clean finish including surface protection make the Shock Absorber a robust solution for classic Vespa models. The correct setup is crucial here: Only with the proper adjustment of spring preload as well as rebound and compression damping can the suspension be optimally adapted to the vehicle, rider weight, and intended use.

High-performance Shock Absorbers with a subtle, weathered look.
For many, it’s a dream: an unassuming, old, perhaps even slightly shabby-looking vintage Vespa—but beneath the bodywork lies a powerful tuned engine and the best suspension technology available.
Our patina-finish Shock Absorbers make this dream a reality. Matte, gray, and with a touch of rust, they blend seamlessly into the look of most Vespas showing heavy signs of wear. Tore, the patina artist, takes great care in his “Made in Germany” work to ensure the technology remains undamaged. You get an intact, like-new Shock Absorber with zero kilometers on the odometer, but without any flashy embellishments and without drawing attention to itself.
Patinated Shock Absorbers are also ideal for avoiding envy and jealousy from neighbors and, for example, grumpy spouses. After all, who would suspect that you’ve just invested several hundred euros in this matte-finished part?
