Gasket/Spacer  Gasket Cylinder Base Wideframe

With our SIP Base gaskets for the more powerful wideframe cylinders, especially for the 150/151 cc cylinders with three transfer ports, their timing can be easily adjusted.

The third overflow channel on the Cylinder is closed by the special shape of the foot gasket.

Appropriate Spacers are essential, especially when using long-stroke crankshafts 57, 60 mm stroke and more and with a long Conrod.

Z. For our SIP Performance Race Crankshaft 45184500 with 60 stroke and 115 mm Conrod, for example, a 4 mm foot gasket is recommended for maximum torque and a 5 mm foot gasket for somewhat sportier engine characteristics.

At the same time, head gaskets in various thicknesses should also be ordered in order to adjust the squeeze gap to the Cylinder Head to a suitable value.

1.5 mm is often a recommended compromise between durability and performance.
