Air Filter Sponge from POLINI with two-layer polyurethane foam for better air flow and effective filtration.

The POLINI Air Filter Sponge consists of two layers. The first layer with medium-sized micropores filters coarse dirt particles, while the second layer with very fine micropores retains microscopically small dust particles. It is precisely these fine particles that can cause major damage to the Engine. The filters are made of self-extinguishing polyurethane foam.

The black outer layer consists of open polyurethane foam with 30 ppi, the blue inner layer of open polyurethane foam with 60 ppi. Thanks to the corrugated outer surface, the Air Filter Sponge offers a higher air flow rate with approx. 50 % better filtration compared to conventional inserts. With an efficiency of over 90 %, the Air Filter Sponge complies with the European filter standard EN 779 in filter classes G3-G4.
