POLINI Racing Exhaust Righthand - sporty sound and noticeable increase in performance for original and tuned engines with a wide rev range.
The POLINI Racing Exhaust not only acoustically enhances classic Vespas, but also supports the power development of original and tuned engines. The Righthand system impresses with a comparatively wide rev range and ensures a clean gear connection - especially from 3rd to 4th gear. In the upper rev range, the Exhaust turns out wide and enables a good top speed. Thanks to the attractive price-performance ratio, the result is a real performance gain for a manageable budget. The jetting and ignition settings should always be checked and optimized after installation.
- Wide rev range
- Cranks out cleanly
- Typical POLINI sound
The system delivers a typical Italian sound and - for an "Italian" - has a pleasantly high torque. The inconspicuous aluminum Silencer disappears elegantly under the Crankcase. Installation is generally straightforward, even with wide tires, spare wheel and Centre Stand.
Tuning and peripherals are crucial to exploit the potential: Main Jet and Ignition must be adjusted. For more powerful setups (e.g. 139-177 cc), a 24 Carburettor and a longer gear ratio are often suitable, ideally in combination with a lighter Flywheel. 200-220 cc setups also benefit from larger Carburettors, longer gear ratios and lighter Flywheels.
Technical details
- Type: Racing Exhaust, Righthand
- Material: Steel, painted
- Silencer: Aluminum
- Mounting: Wide tires/spare wheel/Centre Stand usually possible
- Note: Check/optimize jetting and Ignition after installation
Conclusion: Sporty look, typical Italian sound and a wide band with good gear connection - the POLINI Righthand is an inexpensive, effective upgrade for original and tuning engines.

Feedback from the scene
"Great exhaust-fitted well, sounds great and has really helped hold onto 3rd to 4th gear changes! Also revs a lot easier without bogging (regularly get 115kph on the flat now-sweet!) Thanks SIP!"

"Polini's plain looking pipe has a gentler sound and much gruntier delivery than the Malossi ... perfectly suited to riding tow-up, touring or for use in the city."
