The PIAGGIO torque converter unit is an essential component of the drive and, in conjunction with the Variomatic, also handles the shifting process. Driven Pulleys and V-Belt Pulleys from RMS are manufactured in OEM quality and are precision-machined spare parts for reliable replacement.

A distinction is made between a rigid and a movable half of the Driven Pulley. The fixed half sits firmly on the Driveshaft. The movable half is guided on the rigid half via Fixing Gudgeons and can move outwards depending on the speed. In this way, the Driven Pulley works directly with the Variomatic and influences the shifting process of the drive.

The RMS Driven Pulleys and V-Belt Pulleys are supplied in OEM quality and are manufactured with great precision. Small parts such as Fixing Gudgeons, Sealing Rings and similar components are not included in the scope of delivery, but should be replaced at the same time.
