Rear-view mirrors that are turned loose by the wind are a well-known problem with the Vespa GT/GTS or GTV. The idiosyncratic mounting system of the original mirrors loosens even with normal vibrations - the remedy here is either the conversion to the FACO chrome mirrors or to the plug-in system of the Vespa S.
