The Reed Valve Block from MALOSSI serves as a connection between the Intake Manifold and the engine block to control the intake process.

The Reed Valve Block controls the intake process: When the Piston moves upwards, negative pressure is created in the crankcase, the Reed Valve Petals open and the petrol/oil mixture flows in. When the Piston moves downwards, excess pressure builds up, the mixture is precompressed and the Reed Valve Petals close, preventing backflow. Thanks to the flow-optimized passage, a racing reed valve block is one of the basics in engine tuning.

The MALOSSI Reed Valve Block relies on a larger inlet cross-section for improved flow and cylinder filling, carbon diaphragms, a rubberized sealing lip and a venturi insert for optimized guidance of the incoming mixture - designed for high-revving cylinders.
