LED inserts, suitable for the original Rear Lights of classic scooters.
Unfortunately, the lighting on classic scooters is often not very bright. Rear Lights are also often a safety risk. Especially when the scooter is parked at a traffic light or railroad crossing, for example, and the Engine is running at idle speed, the scooter is hardly illuminated from behind. If the original vintage scooter also has a 6V Ignition installed, then riding on a dark country road becomes a game of chance. Even 12V electrics quickly come to their knees if an additional consumer such as a digital speedometer is installed.
- Highly visible Light
- Suitable for any power supply
- Simple installation
- Retrofit option for the Brake Light
LED technology provides a remedy. Modern LEDs can provide a very bright Light. At the same time, they require less power than conventional "light bulbs".
Suitable for all voltages
The inserts for the CLASSIC LED Rear Light can be operated with both 6V and 12V. The polarity does not affect the function either. Whether direct or alternating current, these LED inserts work with both variants. A Battery is not required.
Simple installation
Plug and play, the LED inserts are inserted in the original Rear Light instead of the original bulbs. Depending on the model, they can be clamped into the connections of the Festoon Bulb or connected to the connection cables.
Option for Brake Light
For Models without Brake Light, the conversion offers an easy way to retrofit this function. A small plug is pre-installed on the inserts. The retrofit kit item no. 73611100 can be connected to this. The kit includes wires and the Wire Brake Light Switch.

Note: In Germany, only certified LED lamps may be sold. Therefore, we are not permitted to sell these LED kits in Germany, even though they would likely be safer than the original LED lamps. Given the flood of inexpensive light sources on the market, the legislature’s caution in this matter is understandable. We therefore ask our German customers for their understanding.
