Product description

The standard Intake Manifolds for GILERA/PIAGGIO 2-stroke maxi scooters only allow the use of larger Carburettors to a limited extent. In addition, the diaphragm area is relatively small, which slows down a reasonable injection intake, especially with tuned engines. For Engines from 125cc upwards and with at least 28mm Carburettors, the Intake Manifold from HEIKOTUNING.

With its hole pattern, the Connecting Piece for the Intake Manifold fits perfectly on the Lower Part V1 from HeikoTuning. The popular RD350 Reed Valve can be used, which is available separately. While the original Reed Valve is already completely overwhelmed, the large reed valve surface of the RD350 in combination with the Lower Part (available separately) allows carburetor sizes up to approx. 35mm, making extremely powerful setups possible.

With the Intake Manifold in combination with the RD350 Reed Valve and the matching Lower Part, Racing Cylinders with long stroke, resonance exhaust and other gimmicks can be ridden without any problems. The practical feature of the 360° Connecting Piece: the Carburettor can be positioned almost flexibly and according to any requirement.

Installation note: When the CNC-milled diaphragm intake manifold is installed, the Carburettor is positioned slightly higher. Care must be taken here to ensure that the Carburettor sits freely and does not touch the Helmet Case, which may need to be machined if necessary.
