Unlike the Vespa models from the 1960s and 1970s, those fitted with a sheet-metal nose, the newer models (Vespa PK/PX) have a removable plastic horn cover. This protects the wiring harness and offers access to the horn. The horn covers for the Vespa PX/T5 models are interchangeable. However, the writing and PIAGGIO emblem must also be changed. The horn cover of the Vespa T5 is particularly popular in the case of street racer reconstructions.
Available in chrome, carbon look or primed and also complete as a set with the matching grill, logo and emblem. We can offer most of the horn covers directly from PIAGGIO or another high quality equipment supplier.
We now have the horncover available for the Vespa PK/S models as part of the SIP Spareparts range. A special moulding form was exclusively created for this purpose.
Carbon fibre components enjoy wide popularity and use on many race machines, no matter whether they are scooters, motorcycles or cars. Due to the fact that 100% carbon fibre produced components are prohibitively expensive and complicated to produce, we have been searching for a viable alternative and have discovered an ideal compromise.
Our new range of items, included in the 'SIP Style - Carbon Line', have all visible surfaces treated with a carbon fibre surface finish in a special process by a firm here in Bavaria. We can use this process on almost any component that requires this high-tech carbon fibre look.
