Product description
DEXTER Atomika Front Brake Calliper – 6-piston radial brake caliper for maximum braking performance in racing and on high-performance scooter setups.
Following testing at various endurance races and a search for components that had not previously been available on the market in this form, the Atomika is now available as DEXTER RACING’s first high-performance Brake Calliper. It was developed for racing and intense conditions where consistent braking performance, controllability, and stability are crucial.
- 6-piston radial caliper for even brake force distribution
- Over 70% more braking surface area compared to standard Brake Pads
- Compatible with DUCATI 916-style Brake Pads
- Developed and tested in endurance racing
The six pistons ensure even distribution of braking force and immediate response, even under extreme conditions. This allows braking performance to be precisely modulated and reliably maintained during prolonged periods of high stress.
A major advantage is its compatibility with motorcycle Brake Pads in the DUCATI 916 design. This provides access to a wide selection of high-performance compounds. At the same time, the Atomika offers over 70% more braking surface area compared to many standard Brake Pads.
The external design is optimized for cooling. The shape promotes heat dissipation and helps ensure consistent braking performance even under sustained load. Internally, the design is engineered to prevent the pistons from seizing. This promotes smooth operation, consistent return, and reliable performance even under high thermal stress.
Special Installation
The Brake Calliper is compatible exclusively with the corresponding caliper mount for ZIP, Quarz, Skipper, and ET4 forks. We recommend using a brake pump with a diameter of 12–14 mm.
Conclusion: The DEXTER Atomika is an uncompromising 6-piston radial brake caliper for anyone seeking maximum braking power, high stability, and precise modulation at a racing level.

DEXTER Brake Pads for the Atomika Brake Calliper—compatible with the 6-piston radial brake caliper in the Ducati 916 design.
DEXTER Brake Pads are designed for the front Atomika Brake Calliper. The Brake Pads conform to the Ducati 916 design and, thanks to their large friction surface, provide a solid foundation for high-performance braking systems on sport-oriented scooters.
Depending on the product, the pads are available in different compounds. The sintered metal version is designed for high braking performance, direct response, and good temperature stability. It is particularly suitable for sporty street bikes and braking systems that are regularly subjected to heavy loads.
The ceramic version is an alternative for specific requirements regarding coefficient of friction and temperature behavior. It is also compatible with the DEXTER Atomika Brake Calliper and offers a high-quality solution for high-performance braking systems.
After replacement, the Brake Pads must be properly bed-in. Before installation, you should also check whether the Brake Disc being used is compatible with the respective pad compound.
