Disc Valve Intake Manifold for Largeframe - more Carburettor, more potential
If the performance of a largeframe is increased by tuning measures, the original carburetor is often no longer sufficient to reliably supply the Engine with mixture. This can be remedied by a larger Carburettor with a suitable Intake Manifold. Disc Valve Intake Manifolds are available to replace the original DELL'ORTO SI with a more powerful tuning carburettor - even without converting to a Reed Valve. Depending on the version, rotary valve engines can be equipped with carburettors up to 30 mm (and beyond).
The POLINI Intake Manifold offers a 30 mm passage and impresses with its high-quality, precision fit.
The MALOSSI Disc Valve Intake Manifold is available with 28 mm and closes the oil pump hole in the Crankcase - ideal for newer (Lusso) Engines.
In the SERIES PRO, there is also a 36 mm version in addition to the classic 30 mm MRP rotary valve intake manifold: The Connecting Piece can be rotated by 15°, allowing the Carburettor to be optimally positioned between the Engine and Frame - without Spacer and without Frame modification. The scope of delivery includes a stainless steel Connecting Piece, CNC-milled aluminum plate and all necessary Screws (incl. M7).
Conclusion: Elicit plenty of power from the rotary valve engine in combination with a correspondingly large Carburettor.
SIP-TIP:
Lusso riders take note: When fitting the POLINI Intake Manifold, be sure to order the SERIES PRO Cover Cap to seal the oil pump hole. A Distance Plate for the Intake Manifold helps with the optimum positioning of the Carburettor.
