What are the advantages of the cylinder kits?

The cylinders with 10mm or 12mm piston pins are made of grey cast iron, just like the original, and can be easily exchanged for the old original cylinder. Due to the periphery and performance, the cylinder largely corresponds to the original and can be used as a spare part without hesitation. Compared to the original, the outlet is slightly larger, overflow ducts etc. correspond to the original and can of course be individually adapted if required.

Delivery includes cylinder, piston, piston pin + clips and piston rings as well as a head and foot gasket each.

Before fitting, it is essential to deburr the cylinder (overflow, exhaust, cylinder base) to avoid premature piston sticking.

Don't forget - the SIP-TIP:

• Old cylinder heads can be used, but if in doubt, new cylinder heads are also available at reasonable prices.
• Cylinder sealant is a useful helper
• Depending on the crankshaft, the cylinder with 10mm or 12mm piston pin is required. It is best to measure the cylinder on the vehicle beforehand or to order the matching crankshaft at the same time.
