K&N filter oil for cotton filters – long-lasting and with a reddish tint for easy inspection.
K&N’s filter oil, specially developed for cotton filters, offers a very long service life. It gives the cotton a slight reddish tint, making it easy to identify areas that have not been moistened.
The maintenance instructions on the cleaner container should be followed exactly. Once the filter is completely dry, spray the K&N filter oil evenly onto the top of each filter layer. Hold the spray about 8 cm away from the filter. Then let the oil sit for about 20 minutes and reapply oil to any remaining gray spots until the filter material has an even pinkish-red color.
