Scooterist Meltdown Kalkar, Germany 2020

Stworzony przez Jesco o 13:02 w dniu 14 lutego 2020

In the real world, the real Star Wars universe, Episode 9 is currently running in cinemas. This time the really last episode and also the really final end of any attraction of that cinema saga. A movie screening where you get so terribly bored that you run the risk of falling into deep winter depressions.

What a luck that Mareike and Marcus Broix only got to episode 8 at their event and invited to Kalkar again in 2020 under the motto "Out of Space". As usual in front of the bizarre backdrop of a nuclear power plant that never went into operation. The scooterist Meltdown has not lost any of its appeal in the eighth episode either, quite the contrary. More and more this seems to be the highlight of the winter in the scooter scene. Not only the English and German scenes are represented here, but also more and more guests from Italy, France, Austria and Belgium are taking the road. More and more exhibitors are preparing for the event at the beginning of February with special campaigns or product presentations.

The scooterist Meltdown begins as soon as the crew of Rimini Lambretta sets off to cross the Alps in snow and ice with their Lui and other weird creations of Lambretta history. In doing so, they let the general public participate in every storm and every breakdown via social media. Some manufacturers, such as KR Automation, then use the exhibition space to present new products. And of course, the Meltdown is the platform for some customizers to present their latest creations to the public. This year, for example, Frank Höppner presented his "Praying Mantis".

What you can see on Saturday in the halls of Wunderland Kalkar is a unique mixture of the most interesting scooters, the most innovative developers, the latest products and the most dazzling personalities of the scene. Certainly the most exciting Saturday afternoon you can spend as a scooterist in winter. There will be good music from the turntables and live acts. Two nighters on different floors and the pampering programme of the all-inclusive weekend. I'm sure that the 9th episode will be a success and book my ticket for 2021.
