The latest developments at POLINI also include the most powerful cylinders available. POLINI have at last an equal challenger to the MALOSSI 210cc's dominance of the premier league of conversion cylinders.

The POLINI 210cc is a nicasil lined, aluminium cylinder. Its aluminium alloy construction makes it better suited to touring duties than its 208cc sister cylinder due to aluminium cylinders being able to transfer heat more effectively than their cast iron counterparts. The port timings have been completely recalculated and the piston assembly includes two piston rings. Due to the increased bore diameter the cubic capacity of POLINIs largest has also grown to 210cc. Its stroke of 57mm ensures fat torque values, if you choose to run this kit with a 60mm stroke crankshaft, the torque remains strong, with an added helping of engine rpm. This cylinder can be used with no modifications or matching of the transfer ports, although this is highly recommended in order to exploit the full potential of this high performance cylinder conversion kit. POLINI promise a power output of up to 19 PS when used in combination with their very own racing exhaust and their Venturi air filter.

Conclusion: The POLINI 210cc is a direct challenge to MALOSSIs largest cylinder system. The response from the MALOSSI corner, in Bologna, is eagerly anticipated.


Aluminium/ 68.5mm bore/7 transfer ports/210cc

Aluminium cylinder, 57mm stroke, 7 transfer ports, piston includes 2 piston rings,'L' section upper piston ring, base gasket also included. The jetting of your carb., ignition timing and piston clearance should be checked and adjusted for safe and enduring use of your motor in combination with this cylinder conversion kit.


SIP-TIP : WE recommend the use of a Bosch W3CC spark plug, a main jet size of between 125 and 128 in a SI 24mm carb and a suitably modified MMW cylinder head in combination with this POLINI cylinder kit. The POLINI Venturi air filter system rounds it all off nicely. If you wish to push the power out put of your motor to over 20 PS you will require a 28/30mm carburettor, an expansion chamber exhaust system and, last but not least, a 60mm long-stroke crankshaft.
