MALOSSI puts out the biggest capacity BigBore kit for Vespa PX80 models. A 61 mm bore adds up to juicy 140.28 cc's of pure power. The high quality 139 cc cast iron cylinder is outfitted with 7 transfers, a three part boost port and ASSO piston complete with sporty 1.2 mm rings - everything your heart desires. A MALOSSI cylinder head with it's own layout, an honest squish band area and oil ring seals, all the bells and whistles in one package. Performance in the area of 100 km/h is a reality here.

Conclusion: The MALOSSI is the real sport cylinder in the PX80 tuning class with high potential. Jets and ignition should always be checked and adjusted accordingly.


Cast iron/ 61 mm bore/ 7 transfers/ 140.28 cc

Cast iron cylinder, 48 mm stroke, 7 transfers, three part boost port, piston with 2x 1.2 mm trapeze rings, original MALOSSI cylinder head, inclusive gasket set. Casing modification not necessary in the first modification steps, jets and ignition should be proofed and optimised if necessary.


SIP-TIP: Main jet adjustment and new spark plug are a must, 24/24 SI carburettor, longer primary, SIP Road/SITO Plus race exhaust and HP4/PK flywheel are recommended. Impressive higher performance can be achieved with a race exhaust such as SIP Performance, RZ or SCORPION, a 28mm carburettor and electronic ignition, such as VESPATRONIC.

This updated and redesigned MK II version replaces its predecessor completely. The main difference to the previous design can be found in the completely reworked and enlarged channels and windows of both the transfer and boost ports. Other elements of the kit though, such as the port timings and the comprehensive range of peripheral components originally included, remain identical. This port tuning update really is the icing on the cake in terms of performance, with similar modifications already well established amongst MALOSSI 139cc tuners as necessary in order to release its full potential. This update means these obvious improvements are now available from the MALOSSI factory as standard!
