Autumn time is EICMA time, and we have looked around for you at the largest motorcycle show in the world. What´s new for us Vespa enthusiasts? The manufacturer usually present the new models, this time for the model year 2020. The big bang was missing but there are interesting special models from Pontedera to see.
In collaboration with US designer Sean Wotherspoon a special model was designed which is accompanied by a streetwear collection:
There is a (RED) version of Primavera which supports the fight against AIDS.
For the GTS models the Italians looked around in the 60s and came up with the special model "Vespa Racing Sixties". There is a green and a white colour version:
There will be a 70km/h version of the Vespa Elettrica, in contrast to the standard 45km/h version.

PINASCO offers a new oil seal solution for the crankshaft of Vespa largeframe engines, Sticky from SLUK presents it here in a YouTube video:
Furthermore PINASCO presents a complete engine for Vespa Wideframe models with about 15hp.

POLINI has presented a new cylinder kit for Vespa GTS 300 Euro 3 and 4 models. The POLINI POWER Expolision Tuningkit delivers real 294cc with a bore of Ø=77mm. POLINI relies on the "HTR" ring technology from Formula 1 to increase the contact area of the cylinder head gasket.
The CDI included in the scope of delivery can call up two mappings depending on the SetUP.
- Stage I: racing cylinder, Vario and exhaust as standard
- Stage II: Racing cylinder, Vario and Sport exhaust
