Please note: All white wall tyres are equipped with a special blue coating which provides protection against stains on the white side walls. The water-based blue coating is very easy to remove using warm water and a soft sponge. Make sure that you only remove the blue coating when the tyre is mounted on a moped or scooter, though.

Racing tyres

The MITAS MC20 Monsum is also available as a racing tyre. Please note that the Super Soft version is not approved for road use (NHS marking).

»Good and cheap rain tyre. Good alternative to the Heidenau k58 RSC. The compound is not quite as soft but lasts longer when it dries. Grip is enough to ride at full lean angle even in the rain.«
