Our recommendations - the SIP TIP:
- Changing tyres is quick and easy with this tyre mounting tool.
- Rim protectors protect tubeless rims from damage during mounting.
- Nothing can go wrong with tyre mounting paste
SIP has inexpensive rims for all vehicles. It is best to mount a set of winter or all-weather tyres on rims, then you can change quickly and easily when the weather conditions are right. You don't have to get your fingers dirty unnecessarily or visit a workshop to mount them.
Expert opinion
»I drove the VRM108 at the weekend. In dry weather, the handling is surprisingly good, similar to the Michelin S83 I had on before. In terms of appearance, the tyre reminded me of the Vespas in the Piaggio museum, some of which also have tyres on them that I would describe as "stubby". In the middle area, however, where you ride the tyre most, there are rather no lugs pronounced, but a rather old motorbike tyre tread.... «

»I have been riding the VRM051 tyre for 3 days now and I am quite enthusiastic. In the dry, in the rain and with pillion on wet roads. Handling is okay, similar to Michelin S83. What I really like about the tyre is the oldschool tread, which reminds me of cafe racer custom bikes.«
