The basis for the development of this tyre was the award-winning Roadtec 01. The rubber compound with a high silica content has been improved once again. The combination of a special tread groove and sipe arrangement increases the mechanical and chemical grip under all conditions. The radial rear tyre of the Roadtec Scooter features the dual compound layout. The even higher silica content on the shoulders of the tyre improves the contact feel in wet conditions – lean angles are also possible. The new formula in the compound makes the Roadtec Scooter flexible and versatile on every road surface and in all temperature and weather conditions.
All the Roadtec Scooter tyres benefit from flatter and flexible carcasses. The lower weight improves the handling and increases the drive comfort. The short and wide contact area ensures less wear and tear and the transition to the lean position takes place with a better feel. The newly developed tread design also improves the mechanical traction and feel during braking and acceleration. The large number of tread grooves and edges are in simultaneous contact with the road, which further enhances the feeling of safety with the Roadtec Scooter.
Please note: Unless stated otherwise, scooter tyres can be used as either front or rear tyres.
