The BadAss box for e-bikes and pedelecs with BOSCH mid-motor and integrated BOSCH sensor.

Attention: This BadAss Box 4 BOSCH is only compatible with the BOSCH sensor (see picture above). If the sensor in the dropout has the shape of the G4 Speed Sensor as shown in the picture, the BadAss Box 4 G4 is required. If the sensor is mounted easily accessible on the chain stay, only a BadAss Box 4 BOSCH is needed.

This set includes everything needed for use with a BOSCH mid-motor. The scope of delivery includes:

• the BadAss Box 4 BOSCH
• one BadAss Box 4 casing cover
• one AAA battery
• one spoke magnet with lobe screw
• one universal adapter
• a base made of elastic foam one
• M5 nut
• one washer
• one cheese head screw
• four cable ties

SOFTWARE

Firmware updates/upgrades are, despite the manufacturers advertising new features, better battery management etc., at the same time gateways for their unwanted features, which take away or limit the choice for tuning. At present, no upgrades/updates of the engine firmware should be carried out in order to preserve the choice for tuning/original condition. This also applies in particular in connection with workshop work on the e-bike.

Conclusion: If you have installed the BOSCH sensor, you now also have a great option for tuning.
