Plug and Play, taken to a new dimension. These new 'Tuning kits allow us to offer the fruits of our many combined years of scooter tuning experience.
The MALOSSI 210 Sport cylinder is the undisputed king amongst performance cylinders suitable for road tuning projects, easily mastering all demands with esprit. It has the highest power output for its price and capacity class, provides an unbeatable acceleration and potential maximum speed, possesses no reduction or compromise in durability due to the improved cooling properties and detailed features facilitated by its advanced aluminium alloy construction, simple motor attachment with no crankcase modification necessary and can easily be returned to an original set up with original factory motor parts.
We carefully selected our favourite component combinations, including those of our customers, for inclusion in this range of Tuning Kits with full part conformity certification. These are the most effective update/upgrade parts available for the aged design of the classic geared Vespa engines. These kits are then equipped with either the SIP Road Box or our classically designed SIP performance expansion chamber exhaust – The kits are all capable of boosting the performance when compared to the original set ups, while remaining suitable for touring use due to their double-walled exhaust designs. They also retain sufficient ground-clearance and a harmonic power delivery starting low in the rev-range. There are also a number of small but effective components included to round off these kits, such as the float chamber with a larger float needle-valve and the specially designed throttle slide. A complete tuning package easily assembled by the less experienced amongst home mechanics.
The Tuning Kit MALOSSI 210 Sport with the SIP Performance replaces the original box exhaust with our classically formed expansion chamber exhaust system. This leads to a noticeably improved exploitation of the potential performance the MALOSSI can provide and the power delivery displays a more typical two-stroke boost in the power-band section of the rev-range. When ridden briskly this set up is a virtual guarantee of ear to ear grinning due to the buzz it creates while performing, but can still offer enough comfort for a harmonic power and sound development. This enables acceptable riding conditions in both urban and motorway environments.
Both conversion kits provide an ideal basis for further tuning measures. While the engine casings are open you are represented with the opportunity to upgrade the crankshaft and also transmission parts such as the Vespa T5 fourth gear cog, essential for an improved acceleration.

Tuning Kit MALOSSI 210 Sport with the SIP Performance: Racing cylinder MALOSSI 210cc 'Sport 2016', T7 float chamber, throttle slide 4.0, SIP Performance exhaust, suitable main jet, ignition point timing according to MALOSSI advice.
SIP – TIP: While assembling this kit check the ignition components and replace the spark plug. Due to the increased performance enabled by this kit the brakes should also be serviced and eventually upgraded with a set of our SIP Performance brake pads/shoes. Good shock absorbers improve the suspension for a more consistent contact with the road while accelerating, cornering and braking!
