Product description
The SpeedBox 1.0 for GIANT Charge drives is a reliable first generation tuning module for your e-bike with GIANT Charge motor. SpeedBox Tuning Chip 1.0 enables the deactivation of the e-bike speed limiter.
After installing the SpeedBox 1.0 tuning module, half values for maximum speed, average speed, daily distance and range are displayed on the e-bike display. This tuning module is only suitable for the GIANT SyncDrive drives.

Starting with the SpeedBox 1.0
The data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily power and range are displayed with half values. SpeedBox 1.0 is activated by briefly pressing the button for lighting, which is placed on the control panel. After pressing the button for illumination again, the tuning module is switched on. This means that SpeedBox 1.0 is deactivated and everything works as in the original state.
Note: SpeedBox 1.0 does not work with the SpeedBox app.
Assembly and disassembly
The colour-coded plug connections make assembly relatively easy. After you have gained access to the engine, the existing connections are simply disconnected and the tuning module is inserted in between. It is just as easy to remove the module and restore it to its original condition. We have linked a video below this product description that explains the installation very clearly.
Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand new e-bike, you should have ridden the bike for at least one kilometre beforehand.
