These SIP PERFORMANCEquick action throttle pulleys - 'Quick Throttle Disc' - represent an optical and technical highlight amongst what is normally a unspectacular part of a steering and control assembly. These items stand out through precision manufacture and are also available in five different colours in a two-tone look!
These items prove that a complete quick-action throttle assembly is not necessary in order to correctly and safely operate a 34mm carburettor mounted on a Vespa. Our all-new SIP PERFORMANCE 'Quick Throttle Discs' are designed specifically to be able to fully open large diameter carburettors more quickly and precisely than ever before!
Initially we only had the PX and PK range of Vespas in mind while developing these items, but we soon realised that there was also a demand to be able to fit these unobtrusive pulleys to vintage models where maintenance of the original appearance is especially prized.
This led to an expansion of the range to include components compatible with all Vespa largeframe models produced during the 60s and 70s. These parts are regrettably not suitable for use with 125 VNA/VNB1-2 models with metal covers on the steering assembly. For these models we recommend the use of a universal cable pulley (#62090000).

SIP - TIP : Do not forget to order a new throttle cable (#62042000) and a fresh nipple (#94230000) to match, when replacing your throttle pulley!
'Quick Throttle Disc' throttle pulleys for use with Vespa PK50-125 S/SS/Lusso/XL/ETS/Rush/N/PX80- 200/PE/Lusso/`98/MY/`11/T5 models :
These components are CNC machined from solid billet aluminium with a cable guide diameter of 50mm (original plastic PX throttle pulley diameter : 38mm). Rapid throttle cable replacement is possible due to the diagonally cut external nipple slot. They can also be simply 'Plug & Play' fitted due to the original positioning of the fixings and throttle-stopper, which prevents false operation, on our version of these discs. They also enable full operation of all common carburettor types with just one twist of the wrist! They are fully integrated into the original steering assembly design.
