Product description
High-end shock absorbers manufactured using CNC machined aluminium alloy complete with almost endless set up possibilities, produced by ZELIONI. This oil-pneumatic gas pressured shock absorber with features including a continuously adjustable spring pre-load, adjustable damping and compression stages integrated into its very modern and highly technical design impresses across the board.
The spring pre-load is continuously adjustable and the compression has nine settings available (apart from the rear unit for the Vespa GTS model), twenty settings for the damping procedure, an external damping reservoir, a pre-load locking ring, a pre-load adjustment tool, CNC machined aluminium construction, black painted spring, silver/orange anodised body.
Spring pre-load : The continuously adjustable pre-load allows you to increase the pre-load, so providing more resistance to the unsprung mass of the suspension components (wheels, tyres brakes, etc.). An adjustment tool is included
Damping stage set-up : The set-up of the re-bound damping rounds off the comprehensive adjustment possibilities of these shock absorber units perfectly. This mechanism governs the rate at which the spring returns to an uncompressed state. This helps keep the overall handling stable while riding over potholes and uneven surfaces and of course during braking. Here, there are twenty pre-set adjustment possibilities for a perfect set-up.
Compression stage set-up : The harder the compression is set-up, the slower the compression of the spring will become.
Conclusion: A viable alternative to the more traditional after-market shock absorber systems available, such as BITUBO or YSS. These classy-looking items do not only impress with technical finesse, but are also quite stylish and have a high-end quality of production.
SIP-TIP : Optimal handling can only be achieved when both the front and the rear suspension are set up in combination with another.
