In case of damage, a sudden loss of air is prevented and the air pressure drops slowly. Burst tubes are a thing of the past. Even a valve rupture or a flat tyre due to the inner tube becoming trapped are a thing of the past.

The SIP Tubeless rim combines the advantages of a classic cast rim with high manufacturing precision and quality. It is designed as a tubeless double hump rim. This hump prevents the tyre from sliding into the rim bed in case of air loss. Exact concentricity is just as self-evident as a perfect surface finish. The valve is pre-mounted in the rim.

Our patina rims:

In cooperation with the very renowned painter and patinator Tore Sambataro, we offer you our SIP tubeless aluminium rims in vintage look. Each rim is patinated by hand, i.e. treated with secret tricks such as rust powder, so that the brand-new rims look as if they were many years old. As a result, they fit perfectly into the visual appearance of preserved Vespas in their original condition, so-called "survivor" vehicles in "O-paint". Each individual patina rim is handmade and is therefore unique (the picture in the shop may vary slightly). The available colour shades match the original paint shades of the specified models very well. Nevertheless, Tore has succeeded in imitating several o-paint variants with only one patina base colour each.

• Patina - Rim "verde": Fits very well to Faro Basso's / mudguard headlamps models, which are preserved in original green-metallic colours (e.g. V1-15, V30-33 etc.).
• Patina - Rim "azzurro metallizzato": Fits very well to Vespas that were originally delivered in light blue metallic (e.g. VBA, VBB1 etc.)
• Patina - rim "beige / grigio": Fits very well to grey and beige O-paint, which e.g. many old ACMA's as well as Italian VM, VN, VNA/B and Motovespas wear.

Of course, in the long life of some Vespa's, rims were also combined with the O-paint of another vehicle in earlier times, so it can be quite authentic when a late VBB with darker blue wears the rims in the O-paint of an earlier VBB in lighter blue, etc.

Note: It is best to check the colour before fitting the tyre if the right of exchange is to be used.

To avoid damaging the precious patinated aluminium rims when removing worn tyres on a large fitting machine, it may be the easier way to cut the tyres from the rim with a cutter knife and side cutters.
