The design of our modern-Vespa SIPMK III Rims is once again one hundred percent made in Germany. Elegant, classic and sporty elements are combined to create a fine, straightforward, clear look that no one else offers for the GTS, GTV and MP3 vehicles. Naturally standard at SIP: General type approval confirmed by the Federal Motor Transport Authority.

Every modern Vespa gains visual presence and individuality with larger wheels. But not only that, driving stability is also improved with the rotating masses further to the outside.

The Mk-III Rim has its own unmistakable visual character, even though it comes from the same stable as its siblings. The two 5-fold patterns of single and double spokes offer maximum mechanical stability, which has also been recognized by the KBA for approval on the front and rear wheel.

ABE and tire approval

All tire sizes that fit under the Mudguards and Covers of the GTS models can be fitted: 110/70-13, 120/70-13, 130/60-13, 130/70-13, 140/60-13. When using the "140/60-13" tire, a tire approval from the respective tire manufacturer must be submitted. In addition to the ABE document, we provide many tire approvals in the download area.

Note: Changing the tire size also changes the gear ratio, which ultimately leads to a deviation in the speedometer display. As the original speedometer deviates from the real value by up to 10 %, the deviation is still within the tolerance for 13" rims with max. 140 Tyres. This is actually an advantage, as the speedometer display comes closer to the real speed with the larger Tyres.

Attention: Please check whether the ABE is valid for the desired vehicle before purchasing.

Fitting instructions

Front wheel: Plug & Play. No additional Mounting Kit is required. Rear wheel: Bushes are always required for rear mounting. Models equipped with ABS on the rear wheel as standard require a Mounting Kit (e.g. MV000617K / MV000617) including new Wheel Bolts and Screws for the Tone Wheel. These items are not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. The ABS/ASR system should be recalibrated after fitting the rims on ABS models. Detailed instructions are available in the download area and in the vehicle's user manual.

Depending on the tire size, it may rub against the inside of the rear Mudguard. This must be moved slightly upwards by loosening the Screws.
